Through the process of FCEs, the physical, mental and functional level of work that an employee can
perform is established. The results of FCEs determine whether an
employee can perform work-related tasks after being diagnosed with an illness or suffering an injury.

 

Occupational therapists can assist employers by determining if employees are temporarily or permanently unable
to work by carrying out FCEs, and by recommending appropriate
reasonable accommodations aligned with the relevant legislative
provisions.

Neuro Rehabilitation is a process that aims to optimize a person’s participation in society and sense of well-being. It focuses on people of all ages who have suffered neurological injury or disease, such as Stroke, Brain Injury, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease, Spinal Cord Injury or Dementia.

We also offer LSVT BIG which is a specific 4-week therapy programme aimed at treating people with Parkinson's Disease.

Physical Rehabilitation is devoted to evaluating and treating clients with functional impairment due to physical injury or disease. This may be due to Orthopaedic Conditions, Burns, Joint Replacements, Surgery, Amputations, Nerve Injuries, Fractures or General Weakness following lengthy hospitalisation or a medical illness.

We can also assist with hand therapy and splinting for hand and upper limb conditions.
